What health & safety precautions are in place?
To ensure all our Sports Stars have the best opportunity to develop their skills, learn, have fun and make new friends our first priority is to ensure the safety of every child who attends any of our fantastic classes or camps.
- All coaches are DBS checked
- Fully insured
- Risk assessments completed
- First aider present
- Parents and Childs details at hand
- All equipment checked before use
- Coach always has a phone at hand
- Every child checked for appropriate attire
Do I need to supply a packed lunch?
Yes, for Sports clubs and Camps you will need to provide a healthy packed lunch, snack and a non-fizzy drink. We are a NUT and EGG free zone so please do not bring any along to camp.
Medical information
Any medical conditions that a participant may have must be fully disclosed (1) at the time of booking in writing to Sports Stars UK at registration and (2) to the lead coach at the club or at the venue.
Do Sports Stars UK accept child care vouchers?
Unfortunately we are not a registered child care facility so cannot accept child care vouchers of any type.
How do we get to the venue/meeting point?
All our holiday course venues have suitable signage directing parents to the registration & deregistration point. In the unlikely event that this is not in place please contact 07502213860.
Can my child attend if he has disabilities?
We do accept children with disabilities. However, we ask that you contact us to making a booking in order for him/her to discuss your child’s needs and also any terms and conditions relating to the safety of your child.
Can I pay on the day?
Payment on the day is accepted in certain circumstances, however, we recommend that you pay prior to the event as we cannot guarantee your child’s place if maximum numbers have already been achieved.
Can I have a refund as my course was cancelled?
Yes, if Sports Stars UK must cancel an event for any reason, a full refund will be issued to the person who booked. No written request is required.
